Note: NFPA 850 provides cable tray fire protection guidance for electric generating plants. IEEE 384 covers cable separation. Nuclear plants follow NRC Regulatory Guide 1.189. Use IEEE 1202 (vertical tray flame test) rated cables where possible. Linear heat detection or VESDA air sampling provides fastest response.
