Fire Door Assembly Components
Door & Frame
Both door and frame must be listed and labeled for the required rating. Frames must match or exceed door ratings.
Hardware
Fire-rated hardware includes closers, latches, hinges (3 min), and coordinators for pairs. All must be listed.
Glazing
Fire-rated glass must meet temperature rise limits for exit enclosures. Size limits vary by wall rating.
