Note: NFPA 13D applies to one- and two-family dwellings and manufactured homes. NFPA 13R applies to residential occupancies up to 4 stories. Both allow omission of sprinklers in closets, bathrooms under 55 sq ft, and some other small spaces. Listed residential sprinklers are required.
