Note: NFPA 30 Table 22.4.2.1 provides prescriptive minimum distances for aboveground storage tanks. Protected tanks have approved foam or water spray systems. Class IA/IB liquids (gasoline, acetone) require greatest separation. Always verify against the current edition of NFPA 30 and local AHJ requirements.
